The Camas boys tennis team got even with 4A Greater St. Helens League rival Union, taking down the Titans 5-1 on Thursday.
Union won the first meeting against the defending 4A state champions 4-2 last month.
The top players in both matches were the same. The difference was where they were in their lineups.
In Thursday’s win, Camas got a pair of 6-0, 6-0 victories at No. 1 and 2 singles from Tommy James and Aiden Braiser, who won at No. 1 doubles in the first match against Union.
The Titans had their top two players, Rohan Thawani and Alex Lin at No. 1 doubles where they beat Camas’ team of Kyle Wen and Nathan Chen 6-3, 6-2.
Thawani and Lin won No. 1 and 2 singles in the September match.

- Ruby Lew, Columbia River slowpitch softball, went 5 for 5 with three doubles, four RBI and scored three runs as the Rapids beat Kelso 25-13.
- Kace Prindel, R.A. Long slowpitch softball, was 4 for 4 with five RBI and a run scored in the Lumberjills’ 20-3 win over Mountain View.
- Ella Berfanger, Union slowpitch softball, was 3 for 3 with two runs scored as the Titans shut out Skyview 7-0.
- Stella Schiewe, Camas slowpitch softball, drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth to beat Battle Ground/Heritage 9-8. She was 4 for 6 with two runs scored.
- Mylee Burrows, Battle Ground/Heritage slowpitch softball, hit three doubles and drove in two runs in the extra-inning loss to Camas.
- Anna Rubash and Natalie Mejia, Mark Morris slowpitch softball, both hit two doubles and drove in three runs in a 14-1 over Prairie.
- Amelia Stewart, Hockinson girls soccer, scored four goals in the Hawks’ 8-0 shutout of Hudson’s Bay.
- Maeve Norton, Washougal girls soccer, posted 14 saves in a shutout loss to league-leading Columbia River.
- Remi Buckley, Columbia River girls soccer, scored two goals and assisted another in the Rapids’ shutout win over Washougal.
- Gigi Lougen, Seton Catholic girls soccer, netted two goals and assisted another in the Cougars’ 7-0 shutout of Castle Rock.
- Collett MacDonald, Woodland girls soccer, had 11 saves in goal in the Beavers’ shutout loss to Ridgefield.
- Sequoia Cohen, Columbia-White Salmon girls soccer, scored the match-tying goal in the 72nd minute and then the game-winner in the 79th minute as the Bruins beat King’s Way Christian 5-4.
- Macey McCoy, Columbia River volleyball, dished out 29 assists in the Rapids’ three-set sweep of Washougal.
- Bailey Espana and Quinn Erickson, La Center volleyball, combined for 40 assists in a four-set win over Stevenson to remain undefeated at 14-0.
- Natalie O’Neil, King’s Way Christian volleyball, had 26 assists and 10 digs to help the Knights to a four-set victory over Seton Catholic.
