In east Vancouver, a group of neighbors are opposing a rezone that would bring an apartment building into their community, causing the city and the would-be developer to reconsider the move.

Andrew Chen, 38, is one of the neighbors.

Chen moved to the Fisher’s Landing East neighborhood earlier this year in search of a quiet, calm area after living in large cities in the U.S.
