I-5 Bridge replacement event to focus on workforce diversity

The Interstate Bridge Replacement Program is hosting a virtual roundtable event about workforce diversity and disadvantaged business enterprises from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The event can be viewed live on the program’s YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/@IBRProgram.

The roundtable will center on how the bridge replacement program is cultivating a diverse workforce for future construction contracts for replacing the Interstate 5 Bridge.

Speaking at the roundtable will be: Greg Johnson, replacement program administrator, Young Sang Song, vice president of the Washington chapter of the National Association of Minority Contractors, Pat Daniels, president of Constructing Hope and Aidan Gronauer, bridge replacement program civil rights lead.
