A 25-year-old man suffered life-threatening gunshot wounds in a drive-by shooting early Thursday morning at an apartment complex in east Vancouver.
Vancouver police responded at 12:10 a.m. to 11614 N.E. 49th St., in the North Image neighborhood, for reports of a shooting in the parking lot.
Officers arrived to find the man with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was taken to an area hospital. A police news release did not identify the man.
There were no other reported injuries.
Vancouver police’s Major Crimes and Crime Reduction units are continuing to investigate.
