Update: Gary Van Dyne has been located.  Clark County Sheriff thanks the community for their assistance.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a 77-year-old man who’s reportedly been missing in the Salmon Creek area since this morning.

Gary Van Dyne was last seen at about 8 a.m. leaving his doctor’s office at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, 2101 N.E. 139th St. He left his adult living facility this morning wearing a heavy light brown jacket, blue sweatpants, light-colored shoes and his cane that he walks with. He also has a large scrape on the right side of his face from a recent fall, according to the sheriff’s office.

He is diagnosed with diabetes, hypertension and dementia, deputies said.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency’s non-emergency line at 311, or those outside of Clark County are asked to call 360-696-4461.
