Letter: Fix is needed for Interstate 5

By John Monaco, VANCOUVER
Published: November 18, 2023, 6:00am

Reading the headlines in the Nov. 14 edition of The Columbian reminds me of how terrible Interstate 5 south is between the Battle Ground onramp and the Interstate 5/Interstate 205 split. With all the tax money the state of Washington collects, one would think this section of Interstate 5 would be a priority for our area. Heavy truck traffic has hammered this highway. Why isn’t this troublesome area fixed?
