Letter: God blessed Israel

In the first book in the Bible, Genesis, God told Abram to go “To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation, bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3). He also tells Abram, “I give to you and your descendants after you, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” (Genesis 17:8)

Now we have people, many of them at liberal universities, cheering on the heinous, barbaric acts being committed against the Israelis, and these evil rioters being cheered on by many people all across our former godly, and God-blessed land. We have become so ungodly that we now commit murder (abortion) and have the most ungodly president we have ever had.

We could be headed for total destruction by going bankrupt and being destroyed militarily by the same people that hate us like they hate Israel (the small Satan) and us (the large Satan).

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
