How Clark County College Football Players Fared: Camas connection powers Southern Oregon win

The Camas connection struck again for Southern Oregon.

Quarterback Blake Asciutto and receiver Jackson Clemmer helped guide the Raiders to a 41-24 road win over Eastern Oregon on Saturday.

Just as they did in leading Camas to the Class 4A state title in 2019, Asciutto and Clemmer were a powerful tandem. On Saturday, Clemmer hauled in two 20-yard touchdown catches, both in the first half.

Clemmer, a junior tight end, has 22 catches and six touchdowns in seven games.

Asciutto connected with Gunner Yates on a 71-yard touchdown in the final minute of the first half to put Southern Oregon ahead 21-17. The senior completed 19 of 31 passes for 238 yards, four touchdowns and no interception.

Asciutto’s four touchdowns were a season high.
