Diego Almodovar scored in the second half to give Woodland boys soccer a 1-0 win over Fort Vancouver on Tuesday to keep the Beavers’ season alive.
The win on the final day of the Class 2A Greater St. Helens League season saw Woodland leap Fort Vancouver into fifth place. That earns the Beavers a spot in the district play-in game on Thursday against the No. 4 team from the Evergreen Conference.
