Monica Tellez-Fowler, C-Tran’s former deputy CEO and treasurer, joined the Central Ohio Transit Authority, referred to as COTA, as their chief operating officer. COTA is headquartered in Columbus.

“I look forward to working with this award-winning team and bringing my own ideas and experiences to the table to help COTA continue its legacy of being the vital mobility solutions provider this growing region needs,” Tellez-Fowler said in a press release.

Tellez-Fowler started at C-Tran in January 2019 as chief of staff. Before C-Tran, she was the chief financial officer of Trinity Metro in Fort Worth, Texas.

Tellez-Fowler won a Greater Vancouver Chamber Iris Award, given to women who made a significant contribution to the community, earlier this month.
