Heathen Brewing Feral Public House was vandalized early Saturday morning, according to a post on the restaurant’s official Facebook account.

The restaurant posted a statement to its social media followers, saying it would be closed in the morning to clean up the area. The post was accompanied by photos displaying three of the restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows and front doors shattered, with broken glass blanketing the street in front.

The restaurant is back to regular hours and accepting guests.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help cover the damage caused by the vandalism.

The GoFundMe also stated that the restaurant was targeted by people protesting the “Spring Fling Drag Brunch,” which Heathen Brewing will host March 26.

“In the early morning hours at Heathen Brewing Feral Public House (12th & Washington) our restaurant was vandalized by individuals who are protesting a drag brunch that will be hosted here on Sunday, March 26th. Unfortunately, these people decided to resort to property damage in order to spread their message of hate but this will not affect our staff or our business as we continue to operate and serve the wonderful people of Vancouver, WA,” the GoFundMe’s description said.
