No one was injured in a Thursday morning crash involving four vehicles on Interstate 5 north of La Center.

The Washington State Patrol responded to the crash at 5:17 a.m. near Milepost 19.

A construction truck, driven by James A. Sedivy, 32, of Vancouver, was traveling north when it swerved to avoid a slow-moving moped or motorcycle. The truck’s trailer rolled over and dumped its cargo across the lanes of the freeway. The trailer came to rest on its side in the left lane, according to a crash memo.

A GMC Sierra truck crashed into the trailer. A Tesla, traveling north, and a Hyundai Elantra, traveling south, crashed into the debris, the State Patrol said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the crash memo does not indicate investigators referred any charges in the incident. Alcohol or drugs were not factors in the crash.
