R.A. Long falls 47-44 to Prosser in 2A boys state quarterfinal

Cavin Holden’s 3-pointer at the buzzer was off the mark and the R.A. Long boys basketball team feel 47-44 to Prosser at the Class 2A state quarterfinals on Thursday at the Yakima SunDome.

The Lumberjacks (21-5) will face North Kitsap at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the fourth-place semifinal.

Holden finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Lonnie Brown Jr. scored 11 points and TraMayne Jenkins added 10 rebounds.
