Sarah Fox recently announced her campaign for a second term on Vancouver City Council. Fox was first elected in November 2019 and is vying to keep her seat for an additional four years.

“Serving on the City Council has been an honor,” Fox said in a statement. “I am seeking reelection to continue working on addressing our shared concerns about public safety, affordable housing, a strong Southwest Washington economy, and a healthy environment for all.”

Fox brings years of experience in urban planning and economic development to the council. She is currently the climate program manager for the state Department of Commerce.

She also serves on committees including the EPA’s Local Government Advisory Committee, the Executive Board of the Children’s Justice Center, and the Finance Committee of the Columbia River Economic Development Council.

“I’m proud of the experience and perspective I have brought to the dais, reflecting my deep commitment to public service, accountability, and collaboration,” Fox said.
