I read your editorial about the Vancouver waterfront. This development would not have happened without the vision of former Mayor Royce Pollard and city council at the time. In addition, a Portland developer brought together three wealthy area investors to purchase the property and invest millions. These investors were asked to invest long term even during downturns. To these players who took the risk, thanks for giving us a vibrant waterfront for many years to come.
