N.W. 11th Avenue to close for sewer work

Beginning June 17, Northwest 11th Avenue will be closed between Northwest 149th Street and Northwest 179th Street as crews install a new sanitary sewer line. Due to safety concerns, vehicles will not be allowed to use the road while the work is under way.

The 60-day road closure will allow for completion of a project that began in November 2022. A previous road closure related to the project ended in May but was recently extended to complete the project.

Traffic will be detoured via Northwest/Northeast 164th Street, Northeast 10th Avenue and Northwest/Northeast 149th Street. Signs will be posted directing drivers to the detour route; local access for adjacent property owners and emergency vehicles will be allowed.
