Carpenters, crafts workers and DIY enthusiasts are invited to attend Friends of the Carpenter’s semi-annual tool sale and repair clinic.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 17, Friends of the Carpenter will host two events at 1600 W. 20th St., Vancouver. Hop saws, band saws, scroll saws, miter saws, routers, sanders, table saws, shopsmiths, tool cabinets, and hundreds of hand tools will be for sale.

Proceeds will benefit the faith-based nonprofit organization’s services to people experiencing homelessness. Friends of the Carpenter offers a shower and laundry program and day shelter services.

In conjunction, the nonprofit will host a Repair Clark County mini-repair clinic.

During the clinic, community members can get their knives sharpened, sewing machines repaired, and mobility devices repaired, including walkers and bicycles.
