Letter: More pickleball courts are needed

By Greg Flakus , VANCOUVER
Published: July 26, 2023, 6:00am

I read the article on medical costs from playing pickleball (“Report: Pickleball injuries could cost Americans $500M this year,” The Columbian, July 18). It is the fastest-growing sport with more than 5 million players nationwide. However, in Vancouver there is only one location with four courts where play is free. I would like to see our parks department seek more places for courts to meet the growing demand.
