Clark County Elections will begin mailing ballots for the Aug. 1 primary election Friday. Ballots will be sent to all eligible registered voters living within the cities of Battle Ground and Woodland, Clark County Fire District 3 and Clark County Fire District 4.

Any voter who has not received a ballot by July 20 should contact Elections at 564-397-2345 to request a replacement ballot. Replacement ballots can be requested in person although staff encourages voters to request a replacement by email or by phone. Email requests can be sent to elections@clark.wa.gov.

After July 18, replacement ballots can be requested or accessed electronically at VoteWA.gov. Be sure to print the replacement ballot and return it by mail to Clark County Elections Office, P.O. Box 8815, Vancouver, WA 98666-8815. Ballots can also be dropped in one of the 22 red drop boxes located across the county. To find the nearest drop box, go to https://clark.wa.gov/elections/ballot-deposit-locations.

The last day for new voter registrations and updates to existing registrations online or by mail is 5 p.m. July 24. Voters can still register and update existing voter registrations after that date but will have to do in person by 8 p.m. Aug. 1.

The Elections office is at 1408 Franklin St. in downtown Vancouver and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 1.

An online voters’ guide and a sample ballot listing the ballot measures appearing on the Aug. 1 ballot are available at clarkvotes.org.
