Stormwater Partners announces student video contest winners

VANCOUVER — Stormwater Partners of Southwest Washington has announced the winners of the third annual Students for Clean Water video contest. Clark County middle and high school students submitted more than 60 videos for the contest. Five $500 first-place prizes and five $100 honorable mention prizes were awarded to the following:

  • First place for the long video category was awarded to Elliot Coco for “Where Does Your Stormwater Go?” and an honorable mention was awarded to Grace Cooper for “Protect Water at All Costs.”
  • First place for the short video category was awarded to Eliana Yuen and Adelaide Huelsmann for “Stormwater’s Journey.”
  • First place for the community storytelling category went to Graysen Aldridge for “My Memory of the Lake,” and the honorable mention went to Elena Ludberg for “Welcome to Round Lake.”
  • Sola Feldheger won first place in the BIPOC filmmaker category and honorable mention for the short video category for “How to Keep Our Water Safe.” The honorable mention for the BIPOC filmmaker category was awarded to Angelie Rivera Vidals for “Don’t Waste a Drop.”
  • First place for the people’s choice category went to Reese Billington and Jovie Gorham-Brown for “Healthy Habits That Will Take You by Storm!” and the honorable mention went to Ryden Aguilar and Jerad Mack Pickner for “Clean Up the Earth.”
