The state Veterans Affairs Department is hosting a veterans town hall and a women veterans forum on Wednesday at the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Vancouver.
The women veterans forum will start at 9 a.m. and will be immediately followed by a general veterans town hall at 10 a.m. Planned topics of discussion include the equity of veterans resources, the Federal VA Caregiver program, the County Veterans Assistance Fund and the veterans suicide prevention program.
The event will also be livestreamed on the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs Facebook page.
