Washougal wrestler Kiersten Lees is the The Columbian 2022-23 Week 15 high school athlete of the week.
Lees received 293 of the 715 votes cast to beat out Seton Catholic basketball player Anna Mooney.
Lees won three matches by fall to capture the 135-pound division at the Clark County Championships, helping the Panthers take the team title.
Nominees for athlete of the week are posted every Monday and voting continues through Wednesday. Winners of the athlete-of-the-week may not be nominated again during the regular season, and no athlete may be nominated in consecutive weeks.

ANNA MOONEY, SETON CATHOLIC GIRLS BASKETBALL: Mooney scored 28 points and 12 points in two league wins for the first-place Cougars.
OWEN ROBERTSON, UNION BOYS SWIMMING: Robertson won the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle and was on two winning relays at the Kelso Invitational.
MALACHI WALLAWAY, LA CENTER BOYS WRESTLING: After three runner-up finishes, Wallway earned his first Clark County title with a 4-2 win over Lance Draper of Ridgefield at 120 pounds.
KYLEEJO WISINSKI, COLUMBIA RIVER BOWLING: Wisinski averaged 202.5 over four games, including a 253 games, as the Rapids won two matches.
