Vancouver firefighters extinguished a house fire Thursday afternoon near the Minnehaha area.
Crews responded at about 1:30 p.m. to 6111 N.E. 41st Circle. Firefighters arrived to find black smoke pouring from the front door, according to a news release.
Firefighters pulled hose lines inside and extinguished the fire. They searched for occupants but determined everyone had already gotten outside safely thanks to working smoke detectors, the news release states. No one was injured.
Four fire engines, one ladder truck and one battalion chief responded.
The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
