Boys swimming: Alex Wendler, Parker Dangleis lead Hockinson boys to district title

Alex Wendler and Parker Dangleis posted two individual wins each and Hockinson won all three relays, leading the Hawks to the team title at the 2A/1A District 4 boys swimming championships at Mark Morris.

Wendler won the 200 individual medley (2:12.22) and the 100 breaststroke (1:03.72). Dangleis won the 50 freestyle (21.91 seconds) and 100 freestyle (48.29 seconds), beating out Fort Vancouver’s Tarik Kurta in both events.

Hockinson also got a win from Liam Dunn in the 100 backstroke (56.34).

Hockinson won the 200 medley relay (1:46.23), 200 free relay (1:36.79) and 400 free relay (3:33.32).

Ethan Larsen of Mark Morris won the 200 freestyle (1:58.88) and Lincoln Swift of Ridgefield won the 500 freestyle (5:17.92).
