Gretchen Lane of Prairie swept all the apparatus victories to capture the all-around title and leading the Falcons to a team title at the Class 3A/2A District 4 gymnastics meets Saturday night at Northpointe Gymnastics.
Lane won the vault (8.650), bars (9.309), beam (9.600) and floor exercise (9.700) to capture the all-around with a score of 37.250.
Prairie advanced to the state meet as a team after posting a season-best score of 168.90.
Washougal’s Reese Velansky advanced the state as the runner-up in the all-around (35.575). She also placed second to Lane in the beam and floor, took third on the bars and fourth on the vault.
Evergreen’s Alannis Rax placed third in the all-around and qualified for state on all four disciplines. Columbia River’s was fourth in the all-around, advancing to state on bars, beam and floor.
The Class 3A/2A state meet is Feb. 23-24 at Sammamish High School in Bellevue.
