Clark County sheriff reflects on ups, downs of first year in office, says ‘There’s still a lot more work to do’

Clark County Sheriff John Horch’s first year at the helm of the agency was one of relationship building — with community members, fellow elected officials, community organizations and the deputies within his understaffed department.

Prior to taking his oath of office in December 2022, Horch served as the chief criminal deputy.
