VANCOUVER — Vancouver Sunrise Rotary members gathered at the office of Support for Early Learning and Families, also known as SELF, for two celebrations and a little work.
A check from the Rotary club for $5,000 was presented in support of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. SELF is the Southwest Washington administrator of the library program.
The program in Southwest Washington also celebrated the milestone of 10,000 children up to age 5 who have enrolled to receive an age-appropriate book each month.
And finally, books which were unable to be delivered were prepared so that they may be given to other children by Santa’s Posse this Christmas.
