Vancouver police say officers in Las Vegas found a Vancouver mother and her two children who had been considered missing since Oct. 7 unharmed in a hotel Thursday evening.
Las Vegas Metropolitan police responded to the hotel after Vancouver detectives learned that Amanda Folston and her children, Liam 5, and Jessie, 7, Tonkin were there. Officers arrested Folston on a warrant for custodial interference, Vancouver police said Friday.
The children are to be reunited with their father, according to Vancouver police.
Investigators do not believe Folston or the children were the victims of any crimes, other than Folston’s alleged violation of a court order dictating custody of the kids, the police department said.
