Letter: Waters refreshing as representative

By Kenneth Alexander, CAMAS
Published: December 15, 2023, 6:00am

It was a bit of a shock to receive a recent legislative update from Rep. Kevin Waters, R-Stevenson. He outlined numerous positive things he is doing as my state representative, including:

  • School construction and education;
  • Helping local beverage producers;
  • Funding multiple local infrastructure projects.

And not a single disparaging remark in his message about his political opponents or harping about political ideologies and trumped-up grievances that his political party now heaps upon us daily with great gusto.

If we had more Republican legislators like this, I might even consider voting for them!
