Letter: Trump violates Commandments

By William K. Reese, Vancouver
Published: December 14, 2023, 6:00am

A response to Carrie Ross (“Follow 10 Commandments,” Our Readers’ Views, Dec. 6): How does Donald Trump line up with the list in Exodus?  He puts himself before God. He has created himself as a false idol. He has taken the name of the Lord in vain. He does not honor the Sabbath. He has killed — his words caused death on Jan. 6, 2021. He has committed adultery. He has and continues to try to steal. He has borne false witness. He covets that which he cannot have.

He gets a pass on honoring his father and mother. I guess one out of 10 isn’t too bad is it?
