Vancouver police arrested a man Wednesday they say they believe is responsible for two drive-by shootings last week, in addition to other crimes.
Members of Vancouver police’s Crime Reduction Unit, along with SWAT, served a search warrant on Daniel Cruz-Martinez’s residence. Officers found rifles, shotguns and other evidence inside, according to a police news release.
Officers booked Cruz-Martinez, 23, into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of two counts of drive-by shooting, two counts of second-degree assault, three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and one count each of second-degree malicious mischief and harassment.
The police department thanked community members who provided video from their residential camera systems, which it said helped the investigation.
