Port of Vancouver’s 2024 budget climbs $24M over 2023

Spending on capital improvements to create jobs, CEO says

The Port of Vancouver Board of Commissioners approved the port’s $102 million budget last week, a $24.1 million increase over last year’s budget.

With a big increase specifically in capital improvement, locals can expect more construction jobs coming from the port in the year ahead.

Port CEO Julianna Marler said the budget allows for continued investment in infrastructure that’s bringing new jobs to the port.
