Clark County Newcomers Club celebrates 70th anniversary with treats, vintage hairstyles

VANCOUVER — The Clark County Newcomers Club has been celebrating its upcoming 70th anniversary throughout the fall and winter season with unique themes and activities at its monthly coffee and business meetings. The Nov. 7 meeting featured snacks and hairstyles from the 1970s. Treats were served with fun trivia about the retro recipes, and poster boards featuring photos of club members from the era. Attendees had fun trying to identify which vintage photo matched the modern day club member.
