A 19-year-old driver and three passengers were hospitalized after a pickup truck crashed into a tree on the 3900 block of S.E. 192nd Avenue early Saturday morning, Vancouver police reported.

Around 12:42 a.m., Vancouver police responded to a crash in which a pickup traveling south on 192nd Avenue crashed into a tree.

One passenger was ejected from the vehicle and was located by first responders in a field about 40 to 50 feet from where the crash occurred. All occupants of the truck were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, police said.

The driver, once released from the hospital, will face charges including three counts of vehicular assault and minor consuming.
