The Ridgefield Lions are seeking volunteers to help staff its food booth at the Clark County Fair. Tasks include kitchen help, grill cook, cleanup and cashiering. Those working the four-hour shifts will receive free admission to the fair. The Clark County Fair runs through Aug. 13. To volunteer or find out more about Ridgefield Lions, visit the organization’s web site at www.ridgefieldlions.org.

The Artisans’ Guild of Camas is asking for donations to its upcoming art supply drive, “Empowered and Equipped: Helping Camas Students Embrace Their Creativity By Donating Needed Art Supplies.” This drive aims to support the Camas School District’s middle and high school art programs. The drive will take place Aug. 7-26, with two drop-off locations available: the Camas Library at 625 N.E. Fourth Ave. and Fuel Medical at 314 N.E. Birch St.

The Artisans’ Guild of Camas has introduced an online donation option to accommodate those who prefer to contribute remotely. By visiting the guild’s website, donors will be directed to an Amazon Wish List. This allows individuals to select the desired art supplies from the list and complete their donation online. All items purchased through the Wish List will be sent directly to the organizers for distribution to the art teachers in the Camas School District. Donations through the Amazon Wish List are open until Sept.1, allowing for continued support beyond the drop-off dates. Inquiries about cash donations can be directed to Miranda Wakeman, at mirandawwakeman@gmail.com.
