The Cowlitz Indian Tribe recently donated $75,000 to CDM Caregiving Services, a nonprofit that supports elderly and adults with disabilities.

The Vancouver-based nonprofit organization will use the grant to help with CDM’s adult day center program. The adult center expands services to residents who are unable to qualify for state funding or privately pay for services like meals, therapy and build a community. The grant will also provide respite care for the caregivers of these clients.
