Letter: Perez should listen to constituents

By Susan Allen, BATTLE GROUND

Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Skamania, met with Pete Buttigieg in July to discuss the Interstate 5 Bridge light rail project. Residents in Clark County don’t want light rail. But Perez refuses to listen to the people in her district. Since 2012, voters have voted against light rail to Vancouver because of their concerns of bringing crime and homelessness from Portland. Listen to the people, Marie. We do not want light rail in Clark County.
