With one round of league play left, three spots are locked up for the district boys soccer playoffs in the 2A Greater St. Helens League.
R.A. Long scored a 2-0 win over Hudson’s Bay on Saturday, locking up the No. 3 seed to the district playoffs for the Lumberjacks. R.A. Long will open the playoffs on Saturday by traveling to play the No. 2 team from the 2A Evergreen Conference.
Columbia River’s Alex Harris continued to add to his goal total, scoring five goals in a 6-0 win for the Rapids over Woodland.
River has clinched the 2A GSHL title and will open the district playoffs at home on Saturday.
Gavin McAllister and Teagan Cabebe scored goals, lifting Hockinson to a 2-1 win over Fort Vancouver. The Hawks have locked up the No. 2 seed to district. Hockinson will host the No. 3 team from the 2A EvCo next Saturday.
With a win or shootout win or loss against Ridgefield on Tuesday in its regular-season finale, Hudson’s Bay will clinch the No. 4 seed to districts. The Eagles will also secure the No. 4 spot with a Fort loss or shootout win or loss against Woodland on Tuesday.
The Fort Vancouver-Woodland match on Tuesday likely will determine the fifth and final berth to the district tournament. The No. 5 team from the GSHL will play at the No. 4 team from the Evergreen Conference in a district play-in match on Thursday. The winner of Thursday’s match will face Columbia River on Saturday.
