Interstate 5 in Vancouver will experience daytime single-lane closures from Monday through May 17.
The closures will allow Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews to install catch basins alongside the highway which prevent water pooling on the interstate.
Closure details:
- Monday through May 7: The right lane of southbound I-5 near Northeast 63rd Street will be closed daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- May 8 and May 9: The left lane of southbound I-5 near Main Street will be closed daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- May 10 through May 17: The left lane of northbound I-5 near Northeast 63rd Street will be closed daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
