Clark County is now accepting applications for its $3 million in grant funds available to support economic recovery efforts. Grants are available to small businesses, nonprofit organizations, impacted/hardest-hit communities, industries, sectors, and community-serving organizations that experienced negative economic impacts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The grant funding is part of the federal American Rescue Plan Act funds and State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund grants awarded to the county.

The program will prioritize funding requests from eligible applicants that have not previously had access to or received COVID-19 recovery assistance funds from federal recovery programs including, but not limited to, SLFRF; ARPA; Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act; and Coronavirus Relief Fund.

Grant applications must be submitted no later than 4 p.m. May 19.

Successful applicants will be notified by July 19, and distribution of funds is expected to begin on Sept. 15.
