The Ridgefield School District has opened kindergarten enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year. Any child living in the district who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1 is eligible to enroll.
Parents and guardians will need to provide a birth certificate and completed Washington certificate of immunization status to apply. Families can figure out what school their child is zoned to attend via the Clark County Property Information Center at https://gis.clark.wa.gov/gishome/property/index.cfm.
The district will host orientation sessions for each of its respective elementary schools in the coming weeks as follows:
- South Ridge Elementary School will host two orientation sessions at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday and Monday, May 15 in the Building B Cafeteria.
- Union Ridge Elementary School will host a session for students with last names beginning with A-M from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m Thursday, May 11 and a session for students with last names beginning with M-Z at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 16.
- Wisdom Ridge Academy Open House will host a single orientation for all grade levels from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 19 at 5645 S. 11th Street, Suite A101.
