The Clark County Fire District 3 Board of Fire Commissioners will host a public meeting to consider placing a levy lid lift resolution on the August primary ballot.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. at Station 31, 17718 N.E. 159th St. in Brush Prairie. People can also attend virtually, and the link can be found at fire3.org.
The agency said that, if approved, the additional money would fund more personnel, station improvements, equipment replacements and training.
The proposed levy lift would be 29 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value. The owner of a $500,000 home would pay an additional $12.08 per month or $145 per year.
