AMBOY — Caring for animals is exactly like caring for people: It’s complicated because each individual is different with different needs. But it’s also simple because it all comes down to love.

Jeff Evans and his husband, Michael Allen, let love guide their decisions at Angels with Misplaced Wings, a nonprofit sanctuary for animals with a range of needs, from physical and behavioral to the ailments of extreme old age.
