RIDGEFIELD — On March 14, Ridgefield School District officials recognized the March Employee and Students of the Month at the regular board of directors meeting.
Ridgefield’s March employee of the month is Union Ridge Elementary kindergarten teacher, Kristen Sullens. “Sullens has dedicated her time and talent to her school and her profession,” the district said in an announcement. “She positively inspires and encourages students and admin on a daily basis.” Sullens hosts a writer’s workshop for professional development, sharing not only her wisdom and planning strategies for implementing a successful writing program, but also years’ worth of resources she’s compiled. “Sullens is a team player and brings positivity and inspiration to her team, joyfully accepting any challenge, always believing in a child’s ability to learn and grow,” the district said.
The March students of the month are as follows: pre-K student at Early Learning Center, Oliver Schuh. Fourth-grader at South Ridge Elementary School, Addison Green. Fourth-grader at Union Ridge Elementary School, Amelia Myers. Sixth-grader at Sunset Ridge Intermediate School, Joshua Neil. Sixth-grader at Wisdom Ridge Academy, Dameyan Innabi. Seventh-grader at View Ridge Middle School, Lillian Edgren. And freshman at Ridgefield High School, Benjamin Cooke.
