Prep Highlights: Union boys golf edges Camas in Titan Cup

The Union boys golf team triumphed at the Titan Cup at Camas Meadows on Monday.

The Titans edged two-time defending champion Camas in the title match, 5½ to 4½. That saw the Titans win their host event for the first time since 2017.

Earlier in the day, Union beat Columbia River in foursomes to advance.

Stars of the day

  • Nick Harris, Ridgefield boys tennis, won a competitive match at No. 1 singles (6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-4) as the Spudders beat Mark Morris 4-2.
  • Adrianne Agbayani, Evergreen girls soccer, had two goals and an assist in a 3-0 win over Fort Vancouver.
  • Lauren Dreves, Columbia River volleyball, had 19 kills and 10 digs as the Rapids swept Skyview (25-9, 25-10, 25-20).
  • Cami Young, Camas volleyball, had nine kills and nine digs as the Papermakers swept Mountain View (25-18, 25-15, 25-19).
  • Mya Nguyen, Mountain View girls soccer, scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Prairie.
