With one play to decide the game, Oregon State went to its Jack of all trades.
Jack Colletto scored on a 2-yard run on the final play in Oregon State’s 35-32 win over Fresno State on Saturday. The senior from Camas, who also plays linebacker, helped the Beavers to their first 2-0 start since 2014.
Colletto took a direct snap and ran it in for the score.
“I was like I think this could work,” Colletto told the Associated Press. “We’ve had some success with the plays we’ve had and it worked out perfectly.”
It was Colletto’s second touchdown of the game. He also rushed for a 2-yard TD in the first quarter and three tackles on defense.
Here’s how other collegiate football players from Clark County fared. Note: A blank entry means the player’s team had a bye week.
