This weekend’s extreme fire danger has prompted a temporary ban on charcoal barbecues in Battle Ground.
The ban, announced Friday night, adds to a ban issued Thursday on recreational fires. Propane grills are still OK.
The ban is in effect until further notice; all of Clark County is under a Red Flag extreme fire danger warning through Saturday evening.
