Trick-or-treaters should be prepared to bundle up this Halloween for what is predicted to be a chilly and rainy Monday night.
On Saturday, the Portland metro area is expected to see light showers in the morning with drier weather as the day progresses, according to Tyler Kranz, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Portland. The high temperature is predicted to reach 58 degrees in Vancouver, with a low of 47 degrees.
While Sunday’s high temperature is also predicted to be in the upper 50s, more rain is expected to start in the early afternoon or evening, Kranz said. The predicted overnight low is 49 degrees in Vancouver.
“(There are) high chances for rain through Sunday night,” Kranz said.
Patchy fog is also expected in the late morning to early afternoon Saturday and overnight, and before noon Sunday, according to the National Weather Services’ detailed forecast.
