To borrow from a well-known holiday song the weather outside was frightful but Joe Callerame and Kolten Gesser were so delightful.
Callerame accounted for 158 yards from scrimmage and scored two touchdowns rushing, one touchdown receiving and one on an interception return and Gesser was a perfect 11-for-11 with 202 yards passing, helping the Seton Catholic Cougars to a 53-6 win over Fort Vancouver at a rainy, cold, windy Kiggins Bowl.
The victory clinched a postseason berth for the Cougars (2-3 in 1A Trico League play, 4-4 overall).
Callerame, who rushed for 94 yards, scored two touchdowns rushing in the first quarter and added a 62-yard interception return in the second quarter. Jacob Williams added two touchdowns as well on the ground.
