1A Trico League football: King’s Way Christian 42, Fort Vancouver 29

Ryan Charlton rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns as Kings Way Christian pulled away for a 44-29 Trico League win over Fort Vancouver on Friday.

With the Knights trailing 14-6 at halftime, Charlton broke loose for touchdown runs of 18 and 33 yards in the third quarter.

Charlton helped King’s Way put the game away with touchdowns of 4 and 14 yards in the fourth quarter.

Alec Charlton caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Brayden Schiefer to put King’s Way ahead 6-0 in the first quarter. He also had a key interception in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory.
